CRASH

I saw this movie for the first time last year and I fell in love with it and the meaning behind it and I thought I should share the trailer with you all. It is dealing with race, class, and gender issues, it is intertwine with several stories within two days in LA.

If you have a chance to watch this movie please do =-)

  1. Ok, I've posted a comment on this several times and found out that my computer doesn't allow me to post comments at home! So here's a brief excerpt of what I was trying to say.
I watched this movie for a film class and did my shot-by-shot analysis on the scene where the Persian man shoots the locksmith, whose daughter races out the door to save her daddy because she's wearing his invisible cloak. I loved the imagery and the cinematography of this movie. The way the camera pans around the man and his daughter when he thinks she's just been shot was very moving; I can imagine how the world would spin if something like that happened to my son.

  2. I watched this movie in my Theory of Knowledge class back in high school and the one part that jumps out at me is the scene where the couple is walking down the street and Ludacris and his friend act out in a stereotypic manner. I think it was created so well they whole story of the movie and the irony of the situations.
